The plans of Josephburg having a snowbank rink outside of Moyer are coming together. The stakes are in the ground and picnic tables and benches are ready for positioning. The plan is to have the rink up and in use by mid December. With the weather willing, the rink could see skaters the night of the CP Holiday Train on December 10 (5pm – check Strathcona County website for full details).
JAS plans to put some brightly painted shovels and brooms out for use as needed. Some lighting and a few kids with sticks and pucks will make it come to life! Looking forward to this new addition to the hamlet!
